Rare pair of "F678" lounge chairs, also known as Spider or Arachnéen, designed by the French designer Pierre Paulin and produced by Artifort, Netherlands, 1966.
The unique hexagonal shape of the Spider chair is made up of a lacquered and jointed wood base with six plywood stringers.
Just like the thread of a spider's web, a single nylon rope of 40 yards long is woven onto the structure, supporting an ivory-colored wool cushion.
